OSU's Day of Caring
OSU's Day of Caring took place Sept 19th, 2016.
The Center for Civic Engagement partnered with us and sent 12 volunteer students out to our Gleicher program and our 29th Street program.
The students helped with yard clean up and planting fall flowers in the ground and in planters.
It was a fantastic day and we were able to distribute fall planters to several programs.
Day of Caring Project was a success and Benco is very thankful for the hard work of all of these compassionate students!
Employee of the Month!
of 17th Street.
I nominated Sally because she is a wonderful staff/sub at 17th.
She goes above and beyond when working at 17th. She is very attentive to the residents' needs and the house needs. When she works, the residents are in good moods.
Sally is willing to help cover shifts that are open at the program. She also has very good suggestions for the house and residents.
Recently she helped with preparing a side dish for dinner for the residents.
Direct Care Staff at 17th Street
Sally takes the extra time to prepare fresh fruits and veggies for the residents that take lunches to work and those that eat lunch at home.
